Porches’ national travels brought the New Yorkers back through L.A. for a third time this year — Aaron Maine and crew opened for BØRNS at the Santa Monica Pier back in July, and opened for Alex G back in March. And it was apparent from Friday night’s show at the Echoplex that everybody was now familiar with the new album “Pool,” beyond the the most recognizable tracks “Hour” and “Be Apart.” Japanese Breakfast and Rivergazer opened the packed show.
