► Nine-time Grammy winner Norah Jones, whose new album “Day Breaks” came out Oct. 7, visits the Greek Theatre
► Billy Bragg and Joe Henry bring their “Shine a Light Tour” to the Palace Theatre.
► Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Death From Above 1979 make some noise at the Wiltern, where they are joined by Deap Vally.
► At the El Rey Theatre, it’s the Dear Hunter, along with Eisley and Gavin Castleton.
► French rockers La Femme headline the Regent Theater, supported by the Pesos.
► With their album “I Had a Dream That You Were Mine” just out, Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam do an intimate show the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
► Trixie Whitley, whose new album “Porta Bohemica,” came out early this year, plays the Troubadour, joined by Rocco DeLuca.
► Warbly Jets play the Golden Animals residency at Harvard & Stone, along with PJ & the Bear.
► And a cast of L.A. luminaries gather at the Echoplex for the “Murder Ballads and Dark Songs Tribute Show,” featuring the Blank Tapes, Edith Crash, Herbert Bail, Avi Buffalo, Haunted Summer, The Little Miss, Tommy Santee Klaws, Nora Keyes, Dustin Lovelis, Christian Lee Hutson, Bloody Death Skull, The Great Sadness, Le Cos, Sister Calypso,and The Histrionics.
