Los Angeles concerts for Wednesday:

Morrissey [see last week’s show] returns for another show at the Bren Events Center at UC Irvine.
► Australian quartet the Jezabels visit the Echo in support of their album “Synthia,” with STAL supporting.
► The Ruby Friedman Orchestra celebrate this week’s release of their album “Gem” at the Hotel Café on a night that also features Lawrence and Dana Williams.
Culture Club‘s tour brings them to the Segerstrom Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa.
Chris Cohen, whose sophomore album “As If Apart” came out earlier this year, does a homecoming show at the Bootleg Theater, joined by Bouquet and the Lentils.
Roisin Murphy headlines the El Rey Theatre, supported by With You.
► Minnesota pop-punk trio Tiny Moving Parts play the Hi Hat in support of teir album “Celebrate,” with Movements and My Iron Lung opening.
► And Garrett Klahn (of Texas Is the Reason) headlines Resident in support of his self-titled solo album, joined by Last Days of April, Alyeska and Cutlass Supreme.
