► Jamestown Revival headlines the El Rey Theatre in support their new album “The Education of a Wandering Many.” Jonny Fritz opens.
► Suzanne Vega vists the Regent Theater in support of her new “Lover, Beloved: Songs from an Evening with Carson McCullers,” an new album based on her play about the author. Teddy Thompson opens.
► Indie-rockers Yo La Lengo perform the score and filmmaker Sam Green does the narration at the “live documentary” titled “The Love Song of Buckminster Fuller,” a retrospective on the 20th Century futurist, architect, inventor and author, at the Skirball Center.
► Brooklyn-based funkateers Turkuaz play the Teragram Ballroom, with the New Mastersounds supporting.
