► No word on what they’ve found, but Switchfoot bring their “Looking for America” tour to the Hollywood Palladium, where they’re joined by Relient K. The San Diegans’ 10th album, “When the Light Shines Through,” came out in July.
► Electronic miminalist Newman Wolf celebrates the release of his album “Please Keep Talking” with a show at the Bootleg Theater, joined by John Tejada and Morgan Greenwood.
► Jimetta Rose headlines the Echo in support of her mimi-LP “The Light Bearer” (produced by Georgia Anne Muldrow), joined by Low Leaf and fr/blck/pr.
► And L.A. quartet Dream Panther headlines the Hi Hat, supported by the Unending Thread, Deep Fields and Rollercoasterwater.
