Singer-songwriter Michael Kiwanuka has scotched the remaining dates on the North American tour in support of his sophomore album “Love & Hate.”

The 29-year-old Londoner “has vocal damage and has been diagnosed with tonsilitis,” statement from his publicist said. “Under doctor’s orders [he] is unable to perform.”

The tour included a Dec. 12 date at the Fonda Theatre.
