► Maria Taylor headline the Troubadour in support of her new album “In the Next Life.” Ben Lee and Cillie Barnes open.
► Night 2 of KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas brings Green Day, Beck, Weezer, Bastille, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Phantogram, Bishop Briggs and the Head & the Heart to the Forum.
► Legendary Athens post-punk band Pylon — with a slightly different lineup and going by Pylon Reenactment Society — play Prat Time Punk at the Echoplex, joined by Sex Stains, Panthar and the Tissues.
► It’s 7 Seconds at the Echo.
► And Snake! Snake! Snakes! slither into the Hi Hat, joined by Bogan Via and Wam Dingis.
