First Fridays, the monthly music-and-more nights at the Natural History Museum, kicks off its 2017 series on Feb. 3 when D.C. rapper Oddisee teams up with Stones Throw Records’ MNDSGN and D∆WN (Dawn Richard) for a show in the North American Hall of Mammals.

KCRW DJs Anne Litt and Aaron Byrd will also be spinning nearby as the series begins with the theme “Serving Up Science: The Dish on Food.” The evening includes a guided tour for early arrivals, and a moderated discussion titled “Your Plate & Your Gut.”

Tickets are $18 and on sale here. The night is free for NHM members.
