► Deafheaven and HEALTH do the second of two nights at the Echoplex, with Skeletal Remains kickings things off.
► It’s Night 3 (of 5) with Lord Huron at the Teragram Ballroom, with Billy Changer opens.
► Tim Presley (White Fence) holds forth at the Highland Park Ebell Club.
► The White Buffalo visits the Troubadour, supported by the Deltaz.
► Midge Ure (of ’80s luminaries Ultravox) visits the Roxy.
► Nevada lo-fi dudes Surf Curse play the El Rey Theatre, supported by Palm Reader and BOYO.
► “Remembering Elvis,” a birthday-week salute to the King, goes off at the Satellite with performances from the Blank Tapes,, Veronica Bianqui, Bloody Death Skull, Twin Temple, the Sloths, Dirdy Birdy, Tracy Bryant of Corners and more.
► And Potty Mouth rocks a free show at the Hi Hat, along with Lindsay B, Fast Friends and Justus Proffit.
