► Ty Segall does the first of three sold-out nights at the Teragram Ballroom in support of his new self-titled album.
► Keane frontman Tom Chaplin visits the El Rey Theatre in support of his solo album “The Wave.”
► Pinback does the first of two shows in Echo Park — tonight’s, at the Echoplex, celebrates the San Diego band’s 2007 album “Autumn of the Seraphs.” They will play the album in its entirety, and other material, after Vertical Scratchers open.
► Mike Doughty’s new album is titled “The Heart Watches While the Brain Burns.” Both his heart and mind will be at the Troubadour tonight, where Whatus opens.
► Dear Lemon Trees bring their sweet harmonies to the Bootleg Theater, joined by Ben Jaffe (of Honeyhoney) and the Fuzzy Crystals.
► The Paranoyds celebrate the release of their new EP “Eat Their Own” at the Echo, supported by Egrets on Ergot, French Vanilla and L.A. Drones.
► And it’s Rooney with surprise guests at the Satellite
