Singer-songwriter Lucinda Williams did four consecutive sold-out shows at the Troubadour last week, a fitting setting for the songs in her catalog, including her 2016 double album “The Ghosts of Highway 20.” Back by Butch Norton, David Sutton and Stuart Mathis — aka the Buick 6, who also opened the night — Williams played only a handful of new songs, sprinkling into her set gems from the past that seemed especially chosen to resonate in these difficult times, along with a couple of choice covers.
