Above: The Desert Daze Caravan, a psychedelic trip if ever there was one, pulls into Southern California this week, headed up by U.K. quartet Temples, whose new album “Volcano” arrives Friday. The tour also features Seattle’s Night Beats, along with L.A.’s Deap Vally, Froth (whose new album “Outside [briefly]” came out last week) and JJUUJJUU. ► Yes, that’s Creeper Lagoon reuniting for a show Friday night at the Echo. It’s the first time the Bay Area quartet’s core lineup of Ian Sefchick, Sharky Laguana, David Kostiner and Dan Carr have played together since 2001. Tickets.
► Speaking of reunions, Shiny Toy Guns’ show Friday at the Regent Theater — 10 years after their debut “We Are Pilots” was nominated for a Grammy — is sold out. So they’ve added a second show at the Regent on March 16. Kitten opens both shows. Tickets.
► And Matt Pond PA has been making evocative and often pastoral indie-rock for almost two decades: 11 full-lengths and eight EPs in all. He and his band visit Resident on Saturday night behind his most recent, “Winter Lives.” In a cozy room, it should indeed. Tickets.
