Shiny Toy Guns celebrated the 10-year anniversary of its Grammy-nominated album “We Are Pilots” in bombastic fashion on Friday night at the sold-out Regent Theater. With Cara Faye Charnow back at the helm, the electronic rockers played most of the album to a sea of phones trying to capture the moment — there’s weren’t many of those back in 2005, when “We Are Pilots” was originally released, or ’06, when the re-recorded, revised version of the album (which included the singles “Le Disko,” “You Are the One” and “Rainy Monday”) came out.

Kitten, fronted by high-flying Chloe Chaidez, preceded the headliners, and Australia’s Chase Atlantic opened the night.

A second show featuring Shiny Toy Guns and Kitten has been added. It’s March 16 at the Regent.
