Los Angeles concerts for Saturday:

Best Coast and Grouplove head up a host of L.A. standouts at Don’t Sit Down: A Benefit Standing With Planned Parenthood. It goes off at the El Rey Theatre and features the Lovely Bad Things, the Side Eyes, MUNA, Nina & Louise of Veruca Salt and the Regrettes, with DJ sets from Wavves, Lili Hayes and Jimmy Tamborello and a special appearance by Liz Phair.
The Brian Jonestown Massacre visit the Fonda Theatre in support of their latest album “Don’t Get Lost,” the band’s 16th. Miranda Lee Richards opens.
► The Desert Daze Caravan arrives at the Regent Theater, with U.K. quartet Temples, heading up a five-band lineup that includes Night Beats, Deap Vally, Froth and JJUUJJUU.
The Shins visit the Fox Theater Pomona, with Kid Wave supporting.
Matt Pond PA plays Resident in support of the new album “Winter Lives,” with Annuals and Completions opening.
► With their new album “Freedom Is Free” just out, Chicano Batman play a sold-out show at the Roxy, with  SadGirl opening.
Groves celebreate the release of their first EP “Not for Nothing” with a show at the Hi Hat, joined by Jane, the Habits and Cologne.
Sinkane celebrate the release of their album “Life & Livin’ It” at the Bootleg Theater, where Grateful Shred support.
► And Kansas City post-punk outfit Shiner, reunited for a second time, play an early show (6:30 doors) at the Echo, with Mossbreaker supporting.
