► Rock-reggae outfit Common Kings headline the Fonda Theatre in support of their new album “Lost in Paradise,” with Mayday and Makua Rothman opening.
► The Skanking Reggae Festival brings an international lineup of Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, Dread Mar I, Los Caligaris, the Slackers, La Banda Skalavera and more to the Shrine Expo Hall. Note, however: Panteon Rococo and Antidoping have had to cancel their appearances due to visa issues.
► The Rock the Night benefit concert at the Teragram Ballroom features a lineup of Jakob Dylan, Chris Martin, Butch Walker and Jade.
► Psych-rock warriors the Warlocks hold forth at the Hi Hat, joined by like-minded the Creation Factory and Gateway Drugs.
► Australian singer-songwriter Alex Lahey headlines an early show (5:30 doors) at the Echo, joined by Emerson Star and Liv Slingerland.
► And veteran guitar-slinger Ian Moore plays an early show (6:30 doors) at Resident in support of his latest album “Strange Days.” Kira Lingman opens.
