Festival announcements continue to roll into the Buzz Bands LA newsroom (cue clicking typewriters and tense newsroom music), with the latest being KAABOO Del Mar’s 2017 lineup. Impressive and vast with something for everyone, it’s also somewhat akin to walking into the music festival equivalent of a shopping mall.

There are stadium-level headliners Muse and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. For classic rockers there’s Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Jackson Browne and Michael McDonald, etc. There are pop princesses Pink and Ke$ha and pop princes Andy Grammer and Jason Derulo. Nostalgic for alt-rock? There’s Jane’s Addiction, Weezer, Garbage and LIVE. Ice Cube checks the hip-hop box while David Guetta checks off the one for EDM.

Should your wallet accommodate, there are exclusive chef tastings, comedy performances, late-night dance events, spa facilities and, yes, a pool with a view of the stage. 

Passes for the three-day event, Sept. 15-17, are on sale now, with three-day general admission running $259, VIP running $799 and a “super” VIP (including amenities like parking, meet-and-greets, golf-cart access and food and drink) running $2,799. Click here for tickets.
