“Crooked Heart” is about beer stains, bloody noses, and heartbreak, three things Danny Nogueiras has come to know quite well in his life. The former drummer of FIDLAR, Nogueiras has embarked on a solo project he calls No Win. It’s catchy power-pop featuring musical contributions from FIDLAR’s Max Keuhn and Brandon Schwartzel, as well as Marshall Vore (Ryan Adams, Phoebe Bridgers) and David Jerkovich (Kind of Like Spitting). Nogueiras has two new songs, “Crooked Heart” and “You’ll Be Fine,” out today through Dangerbird Records‘ Microdose single release series.
