► Minneapolis rapper Brother Ali headlines the El Rey Theatre behind his new album (and first in five years) “All the Beauty in This Whole Life,” with SA-ROC, Last Word and Sol Messiah opening.
► Redd Kross’ “Beneath the Valley of the Teen Babes From Monsanto Tour” hits the Echo, with the quartet performing songs from their 35-year career and the covers on 1984’s “Teen Babes From Monsanto” EP. Side Eyes open.
► Wedding singer-turned-electronic/world dance music sensation Omar Souleyman visits the Echoplex, with Egon opening. Souleyman’s new album “To Syria, With Love” is out June 2.
► Australian electro-pop quintet Vancouver Sleep Clinic headline the Troubadour in support of their debut album “Revival,” with I, Us & We opening.
► The Night Game [see “The Outfield”] play the Bootleg Theater, supported by Cannons.
► Katelyn Tarver continues her residency at Residency, joined by Oliver Riot and the Marias.
► Omar Velasco continues his residency at the Hi Hat; get there early for Jenny O. and Mapache.
► And British rockers You Me At Six visit the Roxy in support of their new album “Night People.” The Score open.
