Arcade Fire have unveiled the video for the title track of their fifth album, “Everything Now.” The announcement of the album, which comes out July 28, comes with the news that the band will embark in September on its “infinite Content” tour, which arrives at the Forum in October. The new song is a typically anthemic meditation on information overload, and the illusion of having it all. “Everything Now,” according to the press release, was produced by the band along with Thomas Bangalter and Steve Mackey, with co-production by Markus Dravs, in three locales: Boombox Studios in New Orleans, Sonovox Studios in Montreal and Gang Recording Studio in Paris. Along with its usual manifestations, the album will be issued on heavyweight black vinyl LP, which will feature 20 different artwork variations, each bearing the album title in one of 20 different languages.
