Precious Kid are coed band of precocious kids from Los Angeles who are breathing some life into the synth-spiked sass (and subversive fun) of the 1980s. The band — singer-guitarist Justine Dorsey, bassist Kassie White, guitarist Chuck Crocicchia and drummer Cole Preston — will release the first of a five-single series on Friday. “Dirty Disposition,” along with its playful video, introduces the band as New Wave acolytes all ready to go wheel-to-wheel with the Cars or toe-to-toe with the Go-Go’s. Dorsey is all eyeliner and attitude here, while the teenaged Crocicchia looks like he might be in over his head. All in (very) good fun.
