► Indie-pop forebears The Primitives play their first L.A. show in 23 years as Part Time Punks celebrates its 12-year anniversary at the Echoplex. Cruel Summer and Susan join in the fun.
Goon rocks the Hi Hat, joined by Dead Soft, Young Jesus and YESES.
► Brother pop duo Computer Games play the Teragram Ballroom.
Christian Lee Hutson, joined by Jonny Fritz, Mapache, Matt Hopper and Mister Paradise, do Grand Ole Echo at the Echo.
► And Tigers Jaw headline the Regent Theater, supported by Saintseneca and Smidley.
