The Eagle Rock Music Festival, which returned in 2016 after a one-year hiatus, has announced Oct. 7 as the date for 2017.

Organizers of the free affair along Colorado Boulevard in the northeast L.A. neighborhood have announced that band submissions (along with those for visual artists, filmmakers, vendors and sponsors) are now open.
