► Aussie dance outfit Bag Raiders party at the Fonda Theature, with RKCB joining in.
► Tacoma, Wash.-based sister duo (and recent Veruca Salt collaborators) Skating Polly rock the Bootleg Theater, joined by Starcrawler and Gal Pals.
► Prince cover band Princess (“Saturday Night Live” vet Maya Rudolph and L.A. singer-songwriter Gretchen Lieberum) do the first of two nights at the Teragram Ballroom.
► Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy, who just released his debut “Doves & Ravens” EP, plays his first U.S. show, at Resident. Saint Mesa supports.
► German garage-rockers the Picturebooks kick off their U.S. tour in support of their album “Home Is a Heartache” with a show at the Hi Hat. Mike Valley & the New Arms support.
► And L.A. shoegazing trio Teleskopes celebrate the release of their EP “Stereocilia” with a show at Harvard & Stone, joined by Bone Acre and the Holy Wars.
