Sonic shapeshifter TOKiMONSTA had a huge 2016; besides releasing her seven-track “Fovere” (which featured the Anderson .Paak collab “Put It Down”) and its remixes, she kept a steady stream of music flowing from her label Young Art Records and tirelessly worked the festival circuit, including a grand turn at Coachella. For her next act: 2017 festival dates galore, and the new album “Lune Rouge,” which the songwriter-producer, aka Jennifer Lee, introduced this week via the video for “Don’t Call Me.” The song features Malaysian siren Yuna, her voice materializing like an apparition out of TOKiMONSTA’s beat-addled mist.
