Los Angeles concerts for Wednesday:
► Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds do the first of two sold-out Southern California shows, this one at the Theatre at Ace Hotel
► Day Wave rocks the El Rey Theatre in support of the new album “The Days We Had.” Get there early for NYC’s Blonder and L.A.’s Dear Boy.
► Defend L.A. is a show benefiting the Downtown Women’s Center — the night at the Hi Hat features the Pretty Flowers, the Lavender Scare, Kayves and Lonely Bones.
► Tel Aviv duo Lola Marsh headline the Bootleg Theater in support of their debut album “Remember Roses,” with KaiL Baxley supporting.
► Ex Eye, the instrumental band helmed by saxophonist Colin Stetson (Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, Belle Orchestre), plays the Echo in support of its recently releeased debut album. Grand Lord High Master and Dina Maccabee support.
► Singer-songwriter Bea Miller visits the Troubadour, joined by FYOHNA.
► And with his new album “Better Faces” arriving this week, Pierce Fulton plays Resident, joined by Josh Ocean, Noosa and Botnek,
