► Dwight Yoakam swings through Southern California for a handful of shows in support of his latest album “Swimmin’ Pools, Movie Stars …,” starting tonight at the Canyon.
► Phoenix quartet Anarbor rock the Bootleg Theater in support of their self-titled album released last summer. Sundressed and Shadow the Wild support.
► Miss Jupiter celebrates the release of her album “Amagianascience” by performing it in its entirety at the Hi Hat. Mother Echo, Nora Keyes and Rachel Mason also play the night.
► Miranda Lee Richards plays Harvard & Stone, joined by Matt Hollywood.
► Norwegian Arms headline the Satellite in support of their latest album “Girard Freeloader,” with King Hurrah and Cold Fronts supporting.
► And Manila Killa and Robotaki head up the party at the El Rey Theatre.
