► Houston soul stirrers the Suffers visit L.A. to play a free show at Levitt Pavilion in MacArthur Park.
► King Washington celebrate the release of their third album, “Potential,” with a show at the Troubadour, supported by Faulkner, Wildling and Hamster.
► The Unscene Fest, a free night of indie-rock at the Hi Hat, brings HOTT MT and Goon to the Highland Park venue, along with Draag, Alyeska and Wolf Woodcock.
► Reggie Watts does a free performance as part of the Off the 405 series at the Getty Center.
► It’s Dwight Yoakam at the Rose.
► Australia’s Jesse Redwing brings his punk-blues to the Bootleg Theater, where the Cigarette Barbies open.
► And Madame Gandhi heads up the lineup at the Play Like a Girl night at the Echo, with Veronica Bianqui, Le Ra and Fawns of Love joining in. It’s an early show (5:30 doors).
