► Chicago’s Rise Against, touring in support of their new album “Wolves,” does the first of two nights at the Shrine Expo Hall, with Of Mice & Men supporting.
► It’s reggae night at Twilight Concerts at the Santa Monica Pier, and Jamaican legend Marcia Griffiths and Jah9 are on hand to lead the party.
► L.A.-based jazz singer and pianist Niia, whose album “I” came out in May, performs as part of the free Rebel Rebel series at the Hammer Museum, joined by SPELLES and KCRW DJ Anne Litt.
► Oklahoma trio Sports headline the Echo, joined by Yeek and LTENGHT.
► War Tapes,  back with their first new music in almost six years, visit El Cid, joined by LA Drones and Le Cos.
► And Psychic Love continue their free residency at the Satellite, joined by Sea Ghouls and Yeses.
