Los Angeles concerts for Thursday:

► Seattle quartet Chastity Belt, touring behind their third album “I Used to Spend So Much Time Alone,” visit the Teragram Ballroom, with Never Young and Lala Lala opening.
► Soul siren Valerie June plays this week’s free Twilight Concert at the Santa Monica Pier, a special night because the other performer on the bill is one of her influences, the “Soul Queen of New Orleans,” 76-year-old Irma Thomas.
► London’s Ibibio Sound Machine [see “Give Me a Reason”] bring their exuberant mix of Afro- and Anglo-pop to the Skirball Cultural Center as part of the free Sunset Concerts series.
► In the Valley Below started their band in L.A., moved to Michigan and recently released their new EP, “Elephant.” They’re back in L.A. for a show tonight at the Troubadour, with Flagship opening.
► Leslie Stevens & the Badgers play a free show at Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles, joined by Moonsville Collective.
► Loyal Lobos headline the Bootleg Theater, with Aldre Williams and Sam Valdez supporting.
► And Ethan Gruska, whose debut “Slowmotionary” came out earlier this year, starts a residency at the Hotel Café. Fenway and We Are Forests also perform.
