Ears Wide Open: Moonlight Graham

Hello again, baseball fans, thanks for joining us, and yes, there really is a band named Moonlight Graham. They hail from La Habra and they trade in earnest, straight-ahead Americana rock, because what else should the namesake of the early-20th century ballplayer immortalized in “Field of Dreams” sound like? “Easy” is the new single from the quintet of singer-guitarist-banjoist Wes Chavez, guitarist Andrew Border, bassist Jordan Sachs, violinist Alyssa Beil and drummer Trey Everett. It’s the follow-up to the band’s full-length “Hurry Up and Wait,” released a year ago. And it’s as American(a) as baseball, hot dogs and apple pie. If classic rock is your thing, you’ll be turning handsprings before you know it.
