Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Modest Mouse announced for The Growlers Six

Beach Goth is history, but the Growlers’ annual festival lives on.

The Growlers Six today announced a lineup topped by Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Modest Mouse for a weekend event Oct. 28-29 at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro. The festival, formerly known as Beach Goth, is no longer associated with the Observatory, where the first five were held.

The deep lineup for The Growlers Six also includes the likes of Butthole Surfers, Guided by Voices, Tinariwen, Fear, Cigarettes After Sex, the Weirdos, the B-52’s, Bad Brains, Girlpool, Beach Fossils and the Warlocks. As they did at Beach Goth, the Growlers will perform both nights.

Early-bird two-day passes go on sale Friday for $150 (no link yet). The location is 3011 Miner St., San Pedro.
