Video: BØRNS, ‘Faded Heart’

Falsetto-wielding songwriter Garrett Borns — aka BØRNS — is trippin’ … and his destination is the whimsical, colorful world of camp. The video for the L.A.-based pop phenom’s new single, “Faded Heart,” finds him wandering in and out of the same hallucinatory headspace portrayed in the cheeky video “The Search for Lost Sounds,” which ostensibly documents the struggle to find musical inspiration for his sophomore album (details of which have not yet been announced). The new “Faded Heart” video, which bounces in and out of Super 8 video and was directed by BØRNS and Bardia Zeinali, finds the singer in a motel, driving up the PCH and finally up to his ears in skeleton marionettes. We’ll have one of whatever he’s having.
