KCRW’s Masquerade Ball, on hiatus the past two years because its traditional venue was undergoing renovations, returns Oct. 28. The Halloween event will feature a lineup including the Black Madonna, Matthew Dear, Tensnake, Moon Boots and Gemini Rising, along with performers from Lucent Dossier, Lucha Va Voom and more.

The always-wild costume party (which is 21-and-older) will be held in multiple rooms at the MacArthur, formerly the Park Plaza Hotel, at 607 Park View St., across the street from MacArthur Park in Westlake.
