Join me at 9 tonight on KCSN (88.5 FM, streaming at KCSN.org) for this week’s L.A. Buzz Bands Show — I’ll have sneak peeks of songs premiering in the coming week from Kera & the Lesbians and YUME, along with new tunes from Jaws of Love, Avid Dancer, Luna Shadows and Arrica Rose. Plus there are rockers from Warbly Jets, the Bronx, Together Pangea and Holy Wars; a Tarfest preview with La Bouquet and Brainstory; and, in honor of the late Josh Schwartz, a great song from his Painted Hills album.
It’s the final L.A. Buzz Bands Show that’s KCSN-only; next week, the switch is flipped and The New 88.5 (a partnership with Orange County’s KSBR-FM) makes its debut. We’ll be on the re-branded station at the same time.
The playlist is below; if you’re out of FM range, click here to stream the show at 9 p.m.
