Together Pangea’s hometown show Friday night to celebrate their new album “Bulls and Roosters” turned out to be a rager, with the band performing old songs and new and a frenetic mosh pit forming on the floor of the El Rey Theatre. The stage divers and crowd surfers had a heyday, although at one point the headliners paused their set because somebody in the mosh pit suffered (what turned out to be) a minor injury.

Daddy Issues, Side Eyes and Tall Juan opened the show.
