Las Cafeteras and the Seshen are among the notable additions to the lineup for the 18th Eagle Rock Music Festival, going off Saturday, Oct. 7, on and around Colorado Boulevard in the northeast L.A. neighborhood.
They join a Center Stage lineup that includes Dexter Story Remixed by Mark de Clive-Lowe, Te’Amir, Earth Arrow and Novala.
The first stage of the lineup was announced in August.
Attendees can find a diverse mix on the festival’s seven stages — from global beats to experimental music to Americana to blues and jazz to kids music. Plus, the Local Stage features emerging bands form around the city: Dabble, BRAEVES, The 131ers, Hugh Effo, Livingmore and the Pretty Flowers.
The festival is free and all-ages, but donations are strongly encouraged. (The festival was an annual affair until 2015, when it missed a year, in part due to lack of funding).
A $10 donation gets fans a fast-track entrance and a digital download of the ERMF mix. A $20 donation gets you those two items plus VIP access, an ERMF T-shirt and entry to the ERMF Kickoff Party on Oct. 6 at the Hi Hat. Tickets are available here.
