Indie-rock quartet La Bouquet capped a festive Saturday in the park with a set including songs from their forthcoming EP (look for it this fall) as Tarfest celebrated its 15th year.

The day at La Brea Tar Pits Park included music from psych-jazz explorers Brainstory, pop siren Alina Bea, funk-soul band the Sovereign Artist and their remarkable horn section and teenage rockers Love Ghost — along with the usual dance performances, kids activities and live painting. Jason Yarger of Hunny joined in to DJ the after-party.
