► Day 1 of this year’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival brings Lana Del Rey, Justice, Vince Staples, Migos, Mac Miller and the host, Tyler, the Creator (among many others), to Exposition Park. [Set times at the end of this post.]
► The Growlers Six kicks off on the L.A. Harbor.: Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Modest Mouse, the Growlers, Danny Brown, Guided By Voices, Rostam, Tinariwen, Cigarettes After Sex and more play at the Port of Los Angeles (Outer Harbor/Berth 46) in San Pedro. [Set times.]
► The Used rock the Hollywood Palladium, supported by Glassjaw.
► Broken Social Scene hit the Wiltern behind their latest album “Hug of Thunder,” with the Belle Game supporting.
► Twiddle jam the Teragram Ballroom, where Gene Evaro Jr. opens.
► Singer-songwriter Trevor Hall headlines the Regent Theter in support of his latest release “The Fruitful Darkness,” with East Forest supporting.
► Psych-rock pioneer Roky Erickson, just past his 70th birthday, rocks the Roxy, with Death Valley Girls opening.
► It’s the Zac Brown Band, along with Darrell Scott, at the Hollywood Bowl.
► With his sophomore album on the way in January, BORNS does an intimate, sold-out show at the Moroccan Lounge.
► Ramonda Hammer headlines “Haunted High” at the Hi Hat, joined by Spare Parts for Broken Hearts, Velvet and New Evil.
► And Peter Matthew Bauer (of the Walkmen), whose album “Mount Qaf (Divine Love)” comes out Nov. 10, plays the Bootleg Theater, joined by Matt Costa.
