Warped Tour to take final cross-country spin in 2018

The Vans Warped Tour, the traveling punk-rock summer camp now into its third decade, will make its final cross-country jaunt in 2018, it was announced today.
“Today, with mixed feelings, I am here to announce that next year will be final, full cross-country run of the Vans Warped Tour,” founder Kevin Lyman said in a statement online, adding that he will “look forward to what’s to come as we commemorate the tour’s historic 25th anniversary in 2019.”
In his statement, Lyman went on to name-check many of the 1,700 bands he has worked with in the tour’s 23 years, including: Quicksand, Sublime, L7, No Use for A Name, No Doubt, Pennywise, Social Distortion, NOFX, Bad Religion, the Descendents, Less Than Jake, Dropkick Murphy’s, The Bouncing Souls, Rancid, Flogging Molly, Anti-Flag, the Offspring, Blink-182, Sum 41, Simple Plan, MxPx, New Found Glory, Good Charlotte, Thrice, Thursday, the Used, Taking Back Sunday, Motion City Soundtrack, Jimmy Eat World, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Avenged Sevenfold, Paramore, A Day To Remember, Sleeping With Sirens, Pierce The Veil, Black Veil Brides and Every Time I Die. Oh, and Black Eyed Peas and Katy Perry are Warped alums too.
Dates (but no lineup) have been announced for 2018, including June 21 in Pomona and June 24 in Ventura.
Lyman did mention wanting to do a 25th anniversary celebration in 2019.
