A packed house — all ready to groove, sing along, crowd-surf and mosh — greeted Ty Segall at the Teragram Ballroom on Friday night as the prolific rocker kicked off a three-night stand in support of his latest album “Freedom’s Goblin.” His sprawling 90-minute set included a handful of tracks from the new album, Segall’s 10th in 10 years, including the cover “Every 1’s a Winner.” He dipped into several of his recent releases for other material, including songs from 2012’s “Twins,” 2013’s “Sleeper” and 2016’s “Emotional Mugger.”
Bay Area rockers CCR Headcleaner opened the night.
Segall’s shows tonight and Sunday are sold out as well.
