It’d been 21 years (and one day) since Erykah Badu took the world by storm with her debut album “Baduizm,” and on Tuesday night the singer-songwriter connected all the dots in her formidable career during a concert at the Shrine Expo Hall. Thundercat opened the sold-out show and then joined Badu, who started an hour late, for her set. Her 16-song excursion featured four songs from that first album — including “On and On,” which was No. 1 21 years ago this week — and ended with a trio of early ’00s highlights, “Time’s a Wastin,” “Danger” and “Bag Lady.”
