► Let’s do it all over again: Coachella kicks off Weekend 2 with the Weeknd, SZA, Kygo, Jamiroquai and much more at the Empire Polo Club. [Here’s how Weekend 1 looked to our correspondents.]
► The Dream Syndicate headline the Troubadour in support of last year’s comeback album “How Did I Find Myself Here?” (their first in 30 years), with Ford Madox Ford supporting.
► Dashboard Confessional‘s tour in support of “Crooked Shadows,” their first album in eight years, hits the House of Blues Anaheim. Beach Slang and Kississippi support.
► Charlie Overbey & the Broken Arrows celebrate the release of their new album “Broken Arrow” with a show at the Echo, joined by Pete Anderson, the Mastersons, PEARL and Bonnie Whitmore.
► Guantanamo Baywatch rocks the Teragram Ballroom, with French Vanilla, Dumb Fucks and the High Curbs opening.
► Altar Egos celebrate their EP release at the Moroccan Lounge, along with Cat Scan, the Mad Walls and Rumblepak.
► And the Moondoggies, the Washington state quintet who just released their first album in five years, “A Love Sleeps Deep,” play the Hi Hat, supported by Erik Blood and Feisty Heart.
