Coachella 2018, Weekend 2: Tributes to Avicii and other scenes from Friday

After the desert turned up the winds, Coachella turned up the heat for Weekend 2. Because of a windstorm, entry to the festival’s camping was delayed — and that was after a midweek gust of wind trashed the Do LaB stage (see bottom), leaving organizers scrambling to rebuild it in two days.

There were tributes to Swedish DJ Tim Bergling, aka Avicii, whose death was reported earlier Friday. Ariana Grande, guesting with Kygo, performed her new single “No Tears Left to Cry.” Deorro’s set also paid tribute.
