► It’s the second of three nights with Ben Harper & Charlie Musselwhite at the Troubadour.
► Field Report [see “Blind Spot”] and Sontalk at the Bootleg Theater.
► Japanese psych-rockers Acid Mothers Temple visit the Echo, joined by Yoo Doo Right and Hooveriii.
► Japanese singer-songwriter and guitar whiz Miyavi headlines the El Rey Theatre.
► Kelsey Lu does a sold-out show at the Moroccan Lounge, joined by FUPU.
► Next week’s release of the compilation album Friends and Family Volume 1 from Flower Moon Records is celebrated with a free show at Resident, where some of those friends and family perform, including Maria Taylor, Jake Bellows, Whispertown, Nik Freitas, Louis Schefano, UMM, Viva Violet and Mike Bloom.
► And Arc Iris kick off a three-week residency at the Hi Hat, joined on opening night by Coco Columbia ft. Louis Cole and Zach Jones.
