A typically diverse, genre-spanning lineup has been announced for the free summer concerts series at Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles. The 12th season of free shows kicks off at MacArthur Park on June 9 with Bostich + Fussible.

Through early September, more than 150 artists from a wide range of genres — from Latin rock, soul, indie pop, electronic and funk to cumbia, ska, Afrobeat, folk, reggae and jazz — will perform at the pavilion. The bilingual venue will also offer children’s activities, food vendors and information booths. New this year: Video displays on the facility’s new LED wall, and more parking, via a partnership with four lots less than two blocks away from the park.

Local rock and pop acts are well-represented in the series — the lineup includes Alice Bag, Moon Honey, SWIMM, GospelbeacH, Katsù Oso, Feels, the Steady 45s and the Delirians, among others.

Highlights of the series include: reggae acts Alika and Quinto Sol (June 15); Radiotron’s 35th Anniversary (June 23), Fishbone (June 29), Grammy-winning cumbia legend Celso Piña (July 7), Southern rock crooner Paul Thorn and Grammy-winning Blind Boys of Alabama (July 14), Grammy-winning Latin folk act Quetzal (Aug. 10), “dirty reggae” pioneers The Aggrolites (Aug. 11), hip-hop and jazz collective Church in the Park (Aug. 24), all-female mariachi Grammy winners Flor De Toloache (Aug. 25) and the late and great Celia Cruz’s west coast band Havana Secret (Sept. 2).
