► Kendrick Lamar heads up The Championship Tour at the Forum, with Kendrick Lamar, SZA, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock and Ab Soul helping with the trophy.
► The Afghan Whigs, winding down a long tour in support of their 2017 album “In Spades,” play the Wiltern along with Built to Spill and Ed Harcourt.
► L.A. quartet Sure Sure wind up their spring tour in support of their self-titled album (released in January) with a show at the Teragram Ballroom. Weathers and Mk.gee open.
► Courtney Barnett and Jay Som do a night at the Pico Union Project.
