Self-proclaimed “daytime disco” duo Poolside have announced their first live-band tour since 2013, along with news of an EP, “Feel Alright,” and the first physical release of 2017’s “Heat” on LP and CD, which they’ll also be performing live for the first time. That’s not all. The Poolside touring band will include drummer Vito Roccoforte and vocalist/bass player Mattie Safer of the Rapture, along with percussionist Brijean Murphy of Toro Y Moi.

“Over the last five years the focus has been DJing in a club setting, so it’s been exciting adding new layers to the Poolside sound and working with some of my favorite players to bring the music to life in a live venue,” says Poolside’s Jeff Paradise. “Vito and Mattie, are the backbone and rhythm section from one of my favorite bands ever: The Rapture. They’ve been big influences on my musical career over the years. It’s super inspiring to play together with such great people with amazing musical chemistry. The punch they add to the music is unmistakable.”

“Feel Alright” feels just right for a day rave with some kind of fruity boozy drink in hand. The video follows skateboarder Braydon Szafranski on a journey through several deserts to burn a photo of model/actress Ashley Smith, before returning to the comfort of his couch.
