“You guys are a good crowd, it’s nice,” MGMT’s Andrew VanWyngarden told the audience at the sold-out Palladium on Friday night.”You’re breaking through the stereotypes of big-city crowds, moving around, doing stuff, making noise.”
MGMT gave the crowd ample reason, performing tunes from their new album “Little Dark Age,” along with highlights from their first three full-lengths. “Kids” and “Electric Feel,” which came near the end of the main set, got the biggest response.
Molly Nilsson opened the night.
Setlist: She Works Out Too Much, Little Dark Age, When You Die, Time to Pretend, James, Alien Days, Flash Delirium, The Youth, Kids, TSLAMP, Electric Feel, Me and Michael, Congratulations. Encore: When You’re Small, Hand It Over, Siberian Breaks.
