Built to Spill, Shabazz Palaces, Bill Callahan of Smog and No Age are on the lineup for the inaugural A Ship in the Woods Music and Art Festival, being held June 16-17 in Escondido.
The festival is the brainchild of the Northern San Diego County nonprofit arts collective A Ship in the Woods. Besides more than 20 musical artists across an array of genres, the fest will boast 25-plus art installations and exhibitions. It will be held at Felicita County Park.
“This is an incredible, inclusive, creative community that supports the rights of all people,” No Age’s Randy Randall says of the organizers. “Such an awesome collection of bands and artists make this event something unique.”
