There Chloe Chaidez is, strutting down the street, minding her own business, when bang, she’s transported into a 1980s nightclub. It’s the video for Kitten’s “Pink Champagne,” the title track to the quartet’s new EP, out today.

“We wanted to blend our love of glam and disco with the sensibility of our favorite modern underground pop,” Chaidez says. “It was fun changing things up and doing a track centered around a big guitar riff. The lyrics examines vanity and the ugly side of glamour, and we think our video mirrors those sentiments perfectly.”

The EP, the second Kitten has released since their debut album in 2014, finds Chaidez and gang almost impetuously skipping across styles, mostly settling into a blithe Britpop vibe with big hooks and saucy lyrics.
